Installing an AiTen Chatbot/ Avatar /Virtual Assistant  is as easy as 1 2 3…

Welcome to the Ai.Ten Digital Marketing and Communication training tutorial. This  guide will walk you through the steps to install and deploy your Chat Agent/Avatar/Virtual Assistant on your website.

Following  this  simple step-by-step guide to install your  new Ai.Ten virtual employee will  ensure a smooth integration process. Enjoy enhancing your customer interactions with our AI-powered solutions!

3 Easy Steps 

Step 1: Prepare Your Website

Before you begin the installation, ensure you have the following:

• Administrative access to your website’s backend.
• The website platform details (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, custom HTML/CSS).

Step 2: Copy Code

1. Access your email
2. Navigate to the Ai.Ten Onboarding email
3. Copy Installation Code

Step 3: Integrate the Code into Your Website

For WordPress:

1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
2. Go to Appearance > Theme Editor.
3. Select the header.php file.
4. Paste the copied JavaScript code just before the closing </head> tag.
5. Click Update File to save changes.

For Shopify:

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin Dashboard.
2. Go to Online Store > Themes.
3. Click on Actions > Edit Code.
4. Open the theme.liquid file.
5. Paste the copied JavaScript code just before the closing </head> tag.
6. Click Save to apply changes.

For Custom HTML/CSS Website:

1. Open your website’s HTML files in a code editor.
2. Paste the copied JavaScript code just before the closing </head> tag in your HTML files.
3. Save and upload the updated files to your web server.

Test Your Agent

1. Visit your website and refresh the page.
2. The Ai.Ten Chat Agent/Virtual Assistant should appear as configured.
3. Test the agent by interacting with it to ensure it responds correctly.

Troubleshooting Tips

• Ensure you have copied the entire JavaScript code snippet without modifications.
• Check that the code is placed within the correct section of your website’s HTML.
• Clear your browser cache if the chat agent does not appear immediately.

If you are not comfortable installing your new Chat  Agent please request installation. This service is free for all paying clients but for Customers on the free AI Integration promotion a one time $15 installation fee may apply.

In WordPress please add AiTen Digital as  Admin user so that we can install your new Agent.

To Add a New User in WordPress

Any administrator can create additional users to share access to the site. To add a new user, take the following steps:

1. Visit your site’s dashboard.
2. On the left side, go to Users > Add New User.
3. Fill out all required fields with your user’s information as well as their role to determine the level of permission their account will have. You may also wish to include their first and last name, website, and/or a custom message.

Role : Admin

• The Password field will automatically generate and will be sent to the new user via the email address provided. Click the “Generate password” button to create a new one.
